He also serves as the SSM Health – Network Associate Medical Director for Behavioral Health, and Medical Director and Chief of Department of Psychiatry, SSM St. Joseph Health Center in Wentzville and St. Charles, all the while maintaining his private practice, and continuing his clinical faculty appointment at Washington University School of Medicine as Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry. Dr. Mehrzad Seraji comes to ABC with a kind heart, years of experience and a wealth of knowledge. She completed her residency in General Psychiatry, and then her fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at St. Louis University. While in private practice for several years, she also served as the Director of the Sexual Disorders Clinic at the Tehran Psychiatric Institute. She has researched the efficacy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Fluoxetine and their combination in treatment of women with Sexual Phobia and has spent countless hours addressing women's mental health issues. Dr. Srinivas Battula earned his medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College in India, followed by residency in Psychiatry at University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), Sheppard Pratt Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dianne Huesemann, MA, LCSW, earned her Master's Degree at St. Louis University in 1989 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Missouri in 1991. Dianne also earned her national certificate as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional in 2006. Dianne has served as a Corporate Compliance Officer and has extensive experience managing adult behavioral health and chemical dependency programs. Most notably Dianne has traveled across the U.S. evaluating the Army Reserve troops returning from theatre for PTSD. Dianne's volunteer experience includes serving as a Cub Scout leader and Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselor. Dianne is a current volunteer for the Wildlife Rescue Center of Missouri.

Megan also earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. Betty Baumann has been working in the behavioral health field since 1999. She received her license as an registered nurse (RN) in 1997. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Missouri Columbia, Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Missouri St. Louis and is licensed as an LCSW in the state of Missouri. Betty has diverse experience in behavioral health as both an RN and an LCSW. Her experience includes both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health. She has worked with adolescent, adult and geriatric populations in both hospital and outpatient settings. She has experience in home health as a nurse and geriatric care manager and has done psychiatric nursing and case management in multiple health care settings. Amanda specializes in co-occurring disorders. She began her career in Key West, Florida as the Offender Reentry Program Specialist, bridging the gap between inmate release and a safe transition into the community. Eventually returning to her hometown, St. Louis, provided her with the opportunity to complete her Clinical Supervision in Out-patient Medicated Assisted Treatment. Eileen has a strong background in working with the elderly, veteran and adolescent populations, and specializes in working with clients with grief and life transitions, and adolescents with self-harm behaviors, adjustment disorders, academic/school difficulties, social skills’ issues, stress management, and anxiety and depression disorders.  Working in social services before transitioning to counseling, Eileen is familiar with working with individuals in a variety of transitions and settings, and a variety of challenges. Kanisha Moye, MSW obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a certificate in Trauma Studies from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.  She also holds an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design. Kanisha has intense training in TF-CBT with children, and in interventions for children with sexual behavior problems. She is experienced in working in the children's acute inpatient and residential setting, in domestic violence, crisis intervention, school social work, addictions, and HIV counseling and education. She serves as Alternative Behavioral Care's Child Program therapist. Kanisha enjoys incorporating art as a therapeutic technique while assisting clients in achieving their individual goals. She plans to pursue her doctorate in social work to further research effective interventions for victims of trauma.

Erin Steingruby-Huddleston, MSW, LCSW obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Southern Illinois University (SIU), Edwardsville.  Erin gained additional experience as a graduate research assistant focused on minority and women’s reproductive rights. Erin is Alternative Behavioral Care’s Mental Health Counselor at St. Charles Community College where she provides short-term, solution focused therapy to students. Prior to this role, she provided inpatient treatment to individuals with severe and chronic mental illness for the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Erin is skilled in working with adults with a wide variety of mental illnesses, and is particularly interested in depression, anxiety, mood disorders and relationship conflicts.  Erin is a member of the American Council on Exercise and is a certified Personal Trainer, with a special focus on body image, eating disorders, and mind-body exercises.

Rachel Weiss, MSW, LCSW, CADC earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis in 2011. Rachel is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and has experience working with adolescents with substance abuse issues. She also has a special interest and experience in working with younger clients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD).  Prior to joining ABC, Rachel worked at a community based mental health center, providing in-home and at-school mental health services to teenagers and families with emotional disturbances.
