Dr. Mehrzad Seraji comes to ABC with a kind heart, years of experience and a wealth of knowledge. She completed her residency in General Psychiatry, and then her fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at St. Louis University. While in private practice for several years, she also served as the Director of the Sexual Disorders Clinic at the Tehran Psychiatric Institute. Julie Friedman, LMSW, began her counseling career as an undergraduate at Washington University, working with women and their families experiencing domestic violence. She later studied Complementary Medicine and earned a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health, where she provided treatment as part of a pilot program in Baltimore Community Health clinics, integrating Mental Health Services and Acupuncture for individuals facing Opiate Addiction.
