The clinical evaluation and assessment appointment is free and confidential. The initial meeting is with a licensed therapist to discuss concerns and treatment options. If you admit into the program, we contact your insurance company to determine your cost before you begin treatment. We accept most major insurances and if we are an in-network provider to your plan, your insurance should cover the majority of your care. We charge no additional fees. Clients are only responsible for any co-pays/deductibles/co-insurance and medication costs. Your insurance company may require that we bill for physician fees separately. This will be reflected in your explanation of benefits.
A 24-hour notice is required to cancel or change your appointment. Please contact our office directly at (636) 477-6111 to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Initial assessments are free of charge. Co-pays are due at time of service for all follow-up appointments. Payment arrangements can be made for co-pays and co-insurance. Credit cards and HSA cards are accepted. We also offer several different competitive private pay plans.
We believe incorporating family members into the program is a key factor in treatment. We strongly recommend our family members and parents to attend our complimentary weekly parent/family groups. Family members are instrumental in supporting a healthy recovery and living. There are cases where a patient may prefer not to have family involvement because of issues that may impede their treatment progress. We encourage our patients to let us know if this is the case.
An initial consultation with a licensed therapist is required to determine the level of care needed before an appointment with a psychiatrist can be scheduled. After the initial consultation, we will immediately book the appointment with a psychiatrist within days of entering our program.
Suboxone® is used in Medication Assisted Treatment, and is one of the options available to assist with substance use recovery. We want to ensure you have all the necessary information before attending your Suboxone® appointment.
Alternative Behavioral Care is a provider for most major insurance companies. Some of the insurances we accept are Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, Coventry, E4 Health, Healthlink, Home State, Magellan, Missouri Care, Optum United Behavioral Health, UHC Behavioral Health Plan, UHC-CP (for private counseling only), UMR, and Beacon Health Options (Value Options.) For information regarding a specific insurance company, please call our office at 636-477-6111.
If we are not a provider to your insurance plan, there are always other options. Our programs are designed to be cost conscious; you will find that our programs are more affordable than other similar programs in the area.
Oh. My. God. This place has literally saved my life. After spiraling downward and hitting rock bottom, ABC’s staff of doctors and therapists worked with me to treat my symptoms and taught me the skills necessary to put my mental health on a far more sustainable path. It’s a lot of work and requires patience and determination, but they care for their patients, and are determined to see to it that everyone has the resources to get better and accomplish their goals.
ABC has helped save my life. They have given the support and tools I need to live my sober life. From my first visit I was kindly greeted by the sweet receptionist at front desk. Then I was treated by the doctor who was amazing; such a kind, caring doctor. The best part of my experience has been my IOP group therapy though. My group therapist rocks. She pushes you in a good, positive way, and helps build caring skills and life skills in my sober life. I have been clean since April 2016, thanks to the help and support of everyone here at ABC.
I have received nothing but the best care with everyone that I came into contact with at ABC. I am truly grateful for becoming a sober and healthy person again. Thank you guys so much for the awesome care. YOU TRULY DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
